1. Fundamental Privacy Philosophy: Zero-Knowledge Architecture

At AI Task Planner Labs ("we", "our", or "us"), we prioritize absolute data sovereignty. We believe your goals, confidential work tasks, project timelines, and study blueprints are your private intellectual property.

Our website and tool are intentionally architected to operate 100% client-side within your web browser. We do not transmit, harvest, process, or store your project descriptions or generated action plans on remote database servers.

2. Data Collection and Usage

2.1 User-Generated Task & Goal Data

When you enter a goal, customize parameters (such as timeline, daily capacity, skill level, or framework), or check off completed subtasks:

  • All processing is performed directly in your local browser runtime via vanilla JavaScript.
  • Saved plans are written strictly to your browser’s standard localStorage sandbox.
  • We have zero access to your localStorage contents.
  • You can purge all saved data at any time by clicking "Clear Plan" or clearing your browser cache.

2.2 Analytics & Server Logs

Our static hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages) maintains standard, anonymized HTTP edge access logs (e.g., requested URL paths, browser User-Agent, and coarse geographic country of origin) solely for DDoS mitigation, bandwidth optimization, and infrastructure uptime monitoring. These logs do not contain user input data.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We do NOT use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or behavioral profiling scripts. We only utilize local browser storage to remember your chosen visual theme preference (Light or Dark mode) and preserve your active task plan across browser refreshes.

4. GDPR and CCPA/CPRA Compliance

Because we do not store, process, or sell personal data on central servers:

  • Right of Access & Portability: You can export your data at any moment in JSON, CSV, or Markdown format via our built-in export toolbar.
  • Right of Erasure: Clicking "Clear Plan" instantly erases all stored plan records from your device.
  • No Sale of Data: We never sell, rent, or monetize personal data or telemetry under any circumstances.

5. Security of Local Information

Because your data resides on your own device, security is maintained through your device’s native operating system protections and your browser’s domain-isolated storage sandbox.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical enhancements. Any revisions will be posted directly to this URL with an updated timestamp.
